Barry Shawn is a designer,
born in Shenzhen.

In 2022, He joined X ACADEMY.
responsible for typography,
tweets, and poster design.
That same year,
he joined and helped prepare　
Fusor Design Labs.
Alongside five core members,
he demonstrated a distinctive
and keen sense of aesthetics
in typography, user interface,
and brand identity design.
He also continued to explore
new forms of expression and breakthroughs　
within established design paradigms.

Although he did not receive formal training,
his distinctive style,
deep interest in design,　
and persistent spirit of inquiry,
gradually earned him widespread recognition.

In 2023,
he founded Besign Lab.
In addition to organizing and sharing
the design projects he has been involved in,
he also continued to focus on branding,
typography, and user interface
through a series of experimental practices.

By 2025,
as his design language drew more
attention and recognition,
Besign appeared in the public eye
as a more complete and diverse
creative agency.
He also maintained close collaborations
with Fractal Studio and
Fusor Design Labs together.
That same year, he also joined　
AdventureX's build team,
responsible for the 2025 key visual
and on-site event design.

In 2026, he and his friend, designer　
William Stark, co-founded　
Fusor Intelligent Foundry.
Dedicated to building dynamic, conscious,
and seriously considered intelligent type systems.

Barry lives and works in Shenzhen with his family,
and travels the world from time to time,
seeking inspiration from nature and cities,　
drawing fresh ideas from the world.
